Joel Gander is wrong about the "trader" tax status, my postings, my intentions and my integrity. He does not seem to care about your taxes nor your rightful tax savings (if you are a qualified trader).

His posting are negative and off-topic. I print below a copy of the private message I previously sent him. Notice, he does not respond as asked, he continues to shoot from the hip, he does not say who he is, what he knows that contradicts my posting, nor what his occupation and expertise is.

I challenge Joel to try and tell Barron's their article on the "trader tax" subject is wrong or try to tell the IRS that their tax code is not written clearly.

Joel, please do some research for yourself on "trader in securities" and tell us all very clearly and in detail what you disagree with and why.

I do agree with Joel and others that this trader tax status should not be abused or taken by investors who do not qualify as traders.

Our research clearly explains who qualifies. The tax rules for trader in securities are clear and our statements are completely correct.

Thank you and let's try to keep this civil.

Dear Joel:

I have noticed your response to my and other peoples messages about "trader" tax rules. You stated in one of my messages that I was giving bad advice. I have conducted significant tax research and it supports the positions stated.

On what grounds and with what tax research do you challenge my and other's statements? Do you also claim that Barron's is incorrect in their article written on the subject of "trader taxes"?

Kindly refrain from negative incorrect statements on this subject. Are you a tax expert and what conclusive research or tax law can you site to negate my statements on the subject?

I do appreciate your general comments about the fact that this trader position is not easy to obtain and should not be taken unless strictly deserved.

Perhaps, you and many others are confused about the difference between a "trader" and a "dealer."

I welcome any debates you would like to have on this subject by e-mail or phone between us rather than just shooting down my messages without justification on the thread.

Have a nice day.

Sincerely,
Bob
