Normally I would agree with your POV, but things are different these days. RuZZia massed troops along the border with Ukraine, but most people didn't expect them to actually cross into Ukraine and start a very ill-advised war of choice. As a result, RuZZia took over 20% of Ukraine's territory that they still hold onto to 18 months later. Ukraine used the element of surprise during the Kharkiv counteroffensive, which resulted in winning back a huge amount of territory and set expectations unrealistically high for future counteroffensives. Following that, Kherson was reclaimed only through slow-rolling their interdiction efforts, and right now Ukraine's current counteroffensive is moving along slowly, because surprise was not on their side. And now Hamas demonstrated the element of surprise when they launched their most recent attack on Israel. They will lose militarily, and Gaza might be wiped off the map as a result, but no matter what, that initial surprise will always be regarded as a Hamas victory. As for Korea, it's possible that the North could launch a surprise attack across minefields that, quite frankly, are pretty small and narrow compared to what RuZZia planted in Ukraine. And they won't have to go far in order to cause tons of civilian casualties, as development north of Seoul and toward the DMZ has picked up in recent decades. Would be st00pid for Kim Jong-Un to order such an attack? Of course it would, but then again, it was st00pid for PooTin the mAsTeR cHeSs pLaYeR to order an attack on Ukraine. Hence we can't assume that our enemies are S.M.R.T. anymore. Nor can we assume that our enemies have the best interest of the people they claim to be protecting in their hearts, as Hamas has already demonstrated. Tenchusatsu
