I have given sufficient tax research comments and sites already about the trader tax status. I have emailed and faxed information to over 100 people free of charge. The naysayers have not given tax sites nor clearly and successfully refuted my comments and sites. Mentioning a few tax court cases is not sufficient. The tax laws are clear and they support my comments. Many tax court cases have been challenged later by the supreme court and other courts and many rulings have been over-turned. Tax court cases are mostly about the past. The ease of being in the trading business and the tools available have drastically improved with the Internet in the past year alone. I am hesitant to give free tax advice without developing a one-on-one relationship with any prospective client. I welcome emails from those who are interested. I think I have been fair to this message board and to the spirit of SI. I have given some free information to clear up misinformation and I have pointed those who only want things for free in the right direction.
