To what extent do you think CUTR's board is running things? Some boards are active, and some hope to collect more in fees and stock options than they spend in defending against lawsuits.

This got my attention, from the 10-K. I'm not sure to what extent you addressed it in your writeup, though you did mention the board turnover.

We have audited Cutera, Inc.’s (the “Company’s”) internal control over financial reporting as of December 31, 2022, based on criteria established in Internal Control – Integrated Framework (2013) issued by the Committee of Sponsoring Organizations of the Treadway Commission (the “COSO criteria”). In our opinion, the Company did not maintain, in all material respects, effective internal control over financial reporting as of December 31, 2022, based on the COSO criteria.

Verbiage like that generally makes me stop reading. Enrons are not cheap at any price.

Nice write-up. All you need to do is be in and be right.

Garbage stock, imo. If I can't see the benefit within two minutes of looking at this cigar butt, which I can't, I'm on to other stocks. Been around a while, so I'm pretty suspicious of any new management as prime reason for me entering the stock.

Can't imagine anyone, anyone here certainly, putting a decent size position on this thing.

You could be building a basis for a financial analyst, financial journalist, podcast guy, or portfolio manager job to spend your time writing up this junk. It is a good write-up imo.. Ha- What's bad though is me spending my time on this stock, the write-up or replies to you about it. lol.

Anyway, Good luck. I've been wrong many, many times, most especially about stocks.
(Let's see how long you hold the position.)

Hey Harshu, my $0.04 (adjusted for inflation) is that any time you see the amount of SEC amendments/late submissions like CUTR that should be a major red flag. Their 2022 10-K was submitted late and then required a further delay until it was submitted In April in which it then received an amendment in May. These problems look to go back to 2018.

I am not going to dig into this further but the stock based comp jumped out at me in their cash by operating activity - has been growing a lot since 2020.

New management aside you really have no idea what you are walking into. I will also challenge that many (even a small few here) were bullish on new LUMN management and the stock is now trading at $1.32/s and is facing a massive trading lawsuit for securities fraud. Perhaps even new management doesn't know what old management left them either?

I would not call this a cigar butt at this stage.

-Sean

Found it by luck and now I'm attracted to it.

My recommendation would be follow it for 2-3 years, and then make a decision about whether or not to own it.

Buying stocks you've learned about a week ago is not a good way to invest.
