You probably know this. I have tried to remind Don of it in previous years so he doesn't suck people in too early, but it seems the older he gets, the more one way his thinking has become. As if he is running a race.

The market usually sucks going into the last two weeks of October because October is the fiscal year end for many institutions. They make adjustments to keep their tax burdens at a minimum. Once that pressure is off, the "Christmas rally" can commence. Because of this, there really is no January effect anymore. It now comes early--as in November-December.

I do not talk about it on the boards because I don't want to argue about it. It's just the way the rules have become.
