>>>Even if you are out of xcit, I think all of us would appreciate your visits to this SI site.

Like I've told doc...to get a good grip on Excite, Checkfree or Intuit. IMO you need to be watching all three, to understand the direction they may be heading....since their futures are tied together to some small extent. I've done it by owning them all at various times during the last 18 months.

Intuit, like Excite was given the 'kiss of death' by the Investment community a year ago. Might I suggest you create a model portfolio on Yahoo! or Quicken.com including xcit, ckfr, and intu. Watch the news if not the price jumps. Put them in at fridays close with one share and watch the movement in price.

Since Intuit holds big position in each; 2.9M shares of Excite and 10.6 Million Shares of CheckFree. You might see like I do a 'Grand Plan' in store for this powerful combo of companies.

For instance, IMO, a lot the the stuff Checkfree is now doing may be available on Quicken.Com, because of Intuits' desire to bring financial services to the web....which if it does will drive revenue for all three...a triple play.....logistically they can do it soon, whether it steps on the financial communities toes in another matter. But if you weren't watching CheckFree or Intuit you wouldn't know what I'm talking about.....
