Bateman, one can reverse your argument and say that you think those 43 million shares short on MU (representing roughly $1.5 billion bucks) are put out there by poor amateurs that have nothing better to do but get slaughtered. By the way, what was the short position last time MU was between 50 and 60, could it be that some of these shorts where laid out then? I also believe that MU has a convertible issue that can be used as a beautiful hedge to short the stock, that could explain part of the relatively large short position. Zeev
