Orban has every reason to be nervous as he has entered la la land. An EU and NATO outcast with an only fictional support within Hungary. Unless he completely changes directions (unlikely), even pathetically ignorant and gutless Hungarians will exile him to some “friendly” country.

Hungarian EU presidency under Orban will not happen. If it does, the EU has rendered itself completely dysfunctional which cannot and will not happen.

BTW, there is an interesting idea out there and that is to dissolve the EU and replace it with a new EU which will set new membership criteria and won’t guarantee lifetime memberships but determine ongoing membership based on changing political conditions in member countries. I think this is a great idea.
