This is thanks to citrix technology not microsoft technology. Citrix is going to help microsft propel their terminal server into the market place with superior technology because microsoft couldn't do it themselves. Then microsoft will try to copy it, steal it, or buy it! I hope citrix develops thin clients for java in the future and helps sun bury msft just the way Msft tried to screw citrix. It won't be easy but evil greedy kings have been overthrown throughout history. S Beck

Well it's about time you posted something worth debating. I agree this isn't good for the NC. So all I can do is speculate that it's not ready for prime time. The concepts are still the best but will they be able to deliver it before the PC prices falls even further. If MS can deliver zero adm then this will also cause concern for the NC but as you know from past history when has MS delivered on time what they say they will and how well will it work. If it works like Win95 it will be a terrible consumer product. I call it the MS FUD factor. Time will tell. I disagree with Addi's statement on the ISO. I think he is missing the point. ISO is very big for Java and it lets ISV get a fair shot on developing good code on a open language not like MS OS. Half of the problems with poor Window applications is the lack of info for the ISV unless MS likes and you are not a threat to them, then they give you all the upgrade info. If Sun has a competitor in developing the same software then the ISO is in place to prevent the above situation. Mike
