This may be old news but I just read in the Austin American Statesman this morning that Dell is discussing when they may break ground on another 500(Plus) acres site for assembly. They are adding 100 new employees a week and are rapidly closing in on Motorola as the largest employers in Austin (it MAY even have said Texas...don't remember.) Anyway...the article was very positive about DELL. It also mentioned how DELL is CONTEMPLATING how they MAY address the acquisition by CPQ in order to become a full service company to the business community. On the other hand Michael said he does not want Dell to become all things to all people. The article indicated the Dell team discusses this almost on a daily basis...another good sign from my perspective (don't rule out anything and don't jump without looking.) T.R.
