That's deceiving though. 4 week treasuries will mature 120 times while waiting on a 10 year to mature. 40 times for a 13 week etc. It isn't financing 120 times as much. It just keeps financing the same initial amount and rolling. So 120 times as much maturing but not actually financing debt. Just the same debt repeating.
The "normal" mix is 80 bonds and 20 T-Bills. It's been a big deal the last year because Yellen has been doing 22% T-Bills and nobody has an explanation as to why so all kinds of conspiracy theories have been floating around.
