Wharfie,
Gross domestic product expanded at a 4.9 percent annual rate over the summer, powered by prodigious consumer spending. But the pace is not expected to be sustained.
I wish the Fed could take this opportunity to raise interest rates by another quarter of a percentage point.

After ticking down over the summer, inflation seems to be bouncing back.

And the strong GDP and employment numbers need to be watched very closely, lest they cause inflation to roar back with a vengeance.

I don't get this, Wharfie. What the Brandon is Gavin Newsom doing in China, test-driving an uber-expensive EV that is made by a Chinese company that has direct connections with the CCP?

Gavin Newsom hammered for showing off $160K Chinese EV during China trip: 'Slap in the face' (msn.com)

Is this company directly tied to the economy of California?
