ask putin, he has decimated his military over visions of being the new Stalin. The vaunted Russian military is a joke, Russia is a pariah state, putin wanted for war crimes, any opposition is jailed or flies out windows. many Russian men have left as they do not want to die for a dictator. putin is scouring the jails for more cannon fodder. Your hero is a small man with big ambitions who is going to end up badly as tyrants usually do.
