Sunday curation, part one - so far there are no Middle East related protests in Confucius domains - China (Taipei ROC / Beijing PRC), Hong Kong and Macau SARs (special administrative zones), and Singapore. There are protests everywhere else. There was however one incidence in Beijing, technically a protest / demonstration, but done by lone foreigner against Israeli embassy staffer's family member.

We got Istanbul travel done over the past summer, and I suspect likely that much travel outside of the Confucius-zone domains shall likely be off of the table for awhile.
