Hi Fuzzy,

All dividend increases graciously received!

I listened to both XOM and CVX webcasts this morning.

CVX had a lot of difficulties this quarter.

It strikes me that XOM has greater engineering expertise and scientific capabilities with in the chemical and Carbon sequester business.

CVX has a headwind with projects all over the world with great challenges.

I think buying Hess was a very good move for them.

They've effectively moved their future activities closer to home, and piggybacked on XOM's modular design skills being effectively implemented off of Guyana.

I love CVX's balance sheet and stronger dividend increase policy.

I think XOM is the more conservative company with greater future capabilities which should be proven by faster lomg term growth.

Both give me a pleasant confidence about future dividend income.

Bob
