Hmm… the analogue of price to sales ratio for a country is stock market capitalization to gdp ratio.
If the GDP only grows 2% per year plus inflation and the stock market cap increases at 30% annual pace,
how long before we run out of valuation room for further expansion? I mean I know we are in a totally new era when price to sales is a meaningless ratio because the internet and the blockchain and the AI infinitely increase productivity, but I already heard this argument before in 1999 -ggg-
