Remember as well that if one buyer is large enough to set prices from suppliers, it could violate antitrust law. Similarly, if one seller is so relatively large in the marketplace that it can set prices, it also could violate antitrust law. The point at which antitrust law (in the U.S. at least) may become a factor is when the buyer or seller control more than 40% of the business.
