I agree. Once the newsletter is on the electronic media, all it takes to email a copy is to "cut" and "paste" -- which even a couch potato will be willing to do.

However, if the newsletter is printed on paper, one will have to walk/drive up to a scanner/copier and then, maybe make a trip to the post office too. Most couch potatoes will give up when faced with such a "challenge". :-)

As for me, I occasionally read Marketimer at the local library. I wonder what are the copyright laws regarding the copying of stuff in the library. I have seen people making copies of the Value Line reports there.

I'm not suggesting anyone break copyright laws; just saying they are impossible to enforce these days. I know from personal experience that the cost to defend a copyright can far exceed the benefit. Like many legal matters, you can end up winning the battle but losing the war.
