re CNHI - yes I bumped up my shares by 40%. Looks like it has taken the rest of the sector down as well (AGCO, DE) I think it is impressive that they could improve their margins a bit, so the earnings report isnt that bad, imo. they can't control demand (which has taken quite a hit in South America) but I am OK holding this as long as they can hold or even better improve margins.

I also hope they do something with their subscale Case construction business. The EBIT margin is only half what they generate in the AG business and I think the reason is lack of scale.

They already spun off Iveco (which is also subscale) but Case needs to be sold or merged as well. I think since Exor controls it, they will do the right thing over time, if an opportunity comes up to improve the business.
