I have to say that 99.99% of the stuff I've run across in the corporate software realm that claims to use AI is total BS. It's just algorithms doing simple machine learning, which is just a bunch of if/then testing and re-testing. Maybe the algo's can lean into some trends, but it's not intelligent like everyone claims. AI in the software realm right now is marketing to idiots that buy into that crap, and there are tons of tools making corporate decisions whose stand on AI is more religious than fact-based. Today some software company called internet scraping AI. I wish I could have punched the people, but everything is over Zoom or Teams these days. All you can do is maybe hit them with some nasty emoji's.
