I frankly think that these threads would be diminished if we banished nay sayers, whatever their motives. The markets need bears to bring out negative factors that bulls otherwise would not consider. If someone comes here and makes unsupported negative comments, they will convince no one. If they post negative information with an unfair spin, or they misstate facts, they will be refuted. And if they bring out troubling factors that cannot be rebutted, all holders here must consider them. I'm long this stock. I would lose money if I sold now. And I also want to hear both sides so that I can make an unemotional decision as to how to proceed; the various posters' motives are, to me at least, irrelevant.

TC: Just give you an example of the extreme.
What if there was a thread started by a broker?
The thread had an abundance of securities people posting on it.
Maybe some people wouldn't feel comfortable with that as an investment.
How about a situation where several people banded together and knocked a stock?
Forget BB's..A "real" stock.
maybe some people would wonder about their motives.
I just think that this would be helpful to people in their evaluation of a posters message.
I am NOT saying TO listen to them or NOT to listen to them.
I AM saying that I feel people should have the knowledge of knowing where it's coming from.
You are entitled to disagree, I have no problem with that.
I think that if the members were polled by SI, you might find yourself in the minority on this one, though.
Any way, sorry everyone for being off topic.
I am not practicing what I am preaching to certain people.
Mea culpa. al
