I am new to the stock, but their Acrobat software is becoming the standard for the document management industry. I think that the acceptance took place over the past two years and is now firm. They give away the Acrobat Reader software to help disseminate the standard. I don't know what impact Acrobat will have on their earnings. Has their Acrobat software been discussed here?

Are you serious....?

%25 downside risk will put ADBE to almost 3 year low...! I can't imagine that happening with things turning around for this company, and looking positive. Have you tried to order an ADBE product by phone lately...? They seem to be extremely busy. I have been wrong in the past, and I maybe wrong this time...!, but I am keeping it to see $55 if not $60 before the end of the year.

(Unless you can prove to me that you are qualified to make the claim that you did in CAPITAL LETTERS. This seems to be your first day on the SI, and you are already screaming...!)

Good luck.

Wouldn't it be nice if you backed up your hysterical ranting with some facts and/or figures? One more question: are you short or long the stock yourself? (I'm long a small amount.)

I'm long ADBE, buy n' hold by nature. I love reading stuff like this.

Ray:

Sounds to me like your investing horizon is short term. Perhaps you are right for that kind of investing. But for a long term 3 to 5 year horizon, one generally buys stocks when the short term outlook has problems associated with it. That is exactly what produces bargains.
