Edit to previous post> HMC could be a buy-and-hold for a beginning investor who's got a different mindset/personalty from Harshu Vegas. Say a young person whose family buys Hondas. Somebody who'll buy HMC and hold for as long as they have their Honda car - five, ten years? The stock might work out - make some dividend/cap gains, add to position if/as stock falls. Not a great opportunity, but might give peace of mind.

Wish I had bought Subaru stock when I bought my Subie 1974. I didn't, but Peter Lynch did in '73-'74 when the company wasn't well-known/respected in USA. He had big success as the stock as went from $3 to $30 in a few years. Maybe a wrong lesson for me or foolish, but I now make a point to hold a few shares of stock in every car company who's cars I own.
