Funk: Do you trade using MB Trading exclusively, or do you also use another data feed? I ask because I have recently subscribed to MBT and still don't feel I have enough info to day trade. Maybe it's just because I am unfamiliar with the software? Thanks for any info. ER

MBT cares:

Just received this email. I bet there isn't another broker out there that provides as much customer service and compassion for there clients.

First and foremost please allow us to extend our apologies to many of you
with quote problems. We know that stock trading is difficult enough with
out having to be hindered with less than 100% efficiency from your broker.
We appreciate this opportunity to allow us to let you know what is being
done to alleviate any problems.

First let us assure you that not only are the necessary upgrades underway
which includes 2 new T3's with the first expected to be in within seven days
but also the addition of two more high speed CISCO routers and 10 Quote
servers. Our main and unexpected delays were due to Ameritech's failure to
deliver our new OC-12. This high performance interface, once installed,
will give us what is know commonly as a "self-healing" channel. In English
that is a system that is free from the outages and failures of standard high
bandwidth circuits.

Additionally, we have reduced the load on our existing servers by
approximately 25%. This will result in more availability of the CPU's for
delivering data and order processing. It will also relieve the pressure on
our internet routers by the same percent.

Note: If you do experience problems or suspect some delay in your quotes,
please reduce your MBTrader screen resources (number of Level 2 Windows,
Charts, etc) to a minimal comfortable level. Many of the busier screens do
place extreme draws on resources and bandwidth.

We have also stopped the activation of New Accounts until our new equipment
is installed.

We would like to compensate you for any inconvenience our equipment upgrade
may cause you and "At a minimum we will be crediting you back 50% of this
months data fee at the end of the month".

We expect our upgrades to be completed within 4 weeks but we will revisit
this credit amount based on the completion of equipment upgrades. We
reserve the right to increase the credit based on our inability to deliver
you the service you have come to expect.

Within 2 weeks we will also be offering Dow Jones Broadtape News Service.
We will be offering all of you (our existing clients) a free month of the
service compliments of MB Trading.

Thank you for your patience during this frustrating time. We hope that you
will continue to allow us to serve your brokerage needs for many years to
come.

Great Trading!

MB Trading
