Thomas,

I have to admit, that's a novel application of the VRD! Your digital camera suggestion seems like viable idea. After all, it would be a logical application of the same type of VRD technology that is being proposed for the cell phone e-mail. Makes you wonder if MVIS isn't working on this?

Everytime I have to fly to the east coast on a five hour flight I find myself wishing the airlines could provide the passengers with a VRD instead of those ceiling mounted TV's. They are usually too far down the aisle, or right over my head that that it's almost impossible to view them. And when they do work, they are usually so out of focus that I end up kicking myself for paying the four dollar headphone fee. I hope someday Boeing and the other airlines will use the VRD not only for the pilots' HUD but for the passengers comfort as well. That would be four dollars well spent!

We are looking at roughly:
xx,xxx Airplanes (times) Seats/Airplane (times) $1,000 VRD/Seat = $$$$
ie:(Lots of money for MVIS and lots of happy pasengers!)
