How can you sit there with a straight face and make such a statement? Are you trying to tell us that Sun Microsystems controls the voting of some 24 member countries who voted yes on Sun's application? The reason Sun has been given the responsibility of shepherding this standard is patently obvious and it has little or nothing to do with Sun's influence on ISO, to the extent it has any at all. As for the analogy, I don't quite follow you but you seem to be saying that Iraq is behind the Java effort and that Bill Gates is prodding Washington to launch air strikes?
