In the spirit of previous inquiries, the following:

I have concerns for WCII's OSS customer service and billing, as this is one of the biggest hurdles most in telecom see facing CLEC activity, and seemed to be one of the points brought up by a number of the Yahoo yahoos. Does WCII (and shareholders) have serious cause for worry here?

Competition - TGNT seems to be a catalyst for WCII's more rapid deployment schedule. WCII anticipates being in 40 markets by end of 1999 (and STILL bottom out their ebidta losses in Q4 98, going ebidta neutral by end of 99. But TGNT plans on being in 30 by then. Now WCII has a lot more experience, which gives them an edge, but CVUS has experience also, and will contract that out to any number of the newly formed LMDS consortia. Things could move along quickly. This could be both good and bad.

Question: Why is WCII installing expensive (in both $$ and maintainance) LU 5ESS voice switches, when carrier class data switches with voice capabilities (from COMS, BAY, CSCO, ASND, XLSW, or SUMA) seems to be the path to the future?

When/how does the FCC see bringing on further spectral real estate - 32-36Ghz and >40Ghz, and how will that effect WCII?

Just a few questions...
