About the Appian Card:
>>>Question 1
. after you have opened a window (by starting application) and you maximize the window (by clicking on this special window button in the top right corner, the button left to the 'x'). now the window should be maximized to the size of one monitor. the questions now are, can you still move the window from one monitor to another (in win98 you cant move a maximized window) and can you adjust the size of the (maximized) window (in win98 you can).

Answer: Yes you can drag and drop as many windows from one monitor to another and resize them to any position you like.

>>>Question 2
2. is it possible to maximize a window lets say over 2 monitors? what i mean here is: first you open a window. then you move the window so that it becomes splitted by 2 monitors: a part of the window is displayed on monitor1 and the other part on monitor2. now if you maximize the window (by pressing the button left to the 'x' button), what happens? doest it snap to one monitor? or is it maximized over both monitors? (in win98 it always snaps to one monitor)

Answer:
Yes you can split one window over 2 monitors(works great with REAL TICK 3 as it affords you lots of real estate for different page views.
As far as the Min/Max management features it all depends how you setup the HydraVision Software in the display properties.
You have to really play around with it till until you get it how you want.
You can, single monitor windows, Max to current Monitor, or Max to Windows Corners, or even Max to full desktop or Max CHILD WINDOWS to current monitor.

Once you get used to have one mouse control 2 monitors you never go back to a single monitor.
A dual monitor setup works wonderful just for even cruising the web as you drag and drop LINKS from one monitor to another and never lose the page your on.
