I don't agree with that. For one thing orthodox Jews are not liberal by any stretch of the imagination.

I have always hung with the Jews, and in graduate school ran with them and lived with them, and dated them at the U of Washington.

And liberal Jews do not turn against the Jewish culture, they just turn against right wing assholes like Netanyahu, like any liberal. They are proud and happy being Jews, as they should be.

Liberal Jews embrace being a Jew and support Israel, they just want it to be a liberal Israel.

The right wingers all over the world, are full of shit, one way or another, and liberals of all types don't believe in shit and want nothing to do with it.

Jews in the US are usually pretty liberal. And that goes for orthodox as well.

This creates a problem for Jews when they try to be loyal to the liberal cause which is increasingly turning against Jews. Thus you see liberals scraping off pics of kidnapped Israelis while either laughing, Lots of liberals think Pals have an innate right to kill Jewish kids. Like the (late?) Christine Grace Barkley told me long ago .... its all (killing Jewish kids) they can do.
