Hullooo, anybody home? Or are we all out spending our well-deserved gains? Anyway, the question of buybacks may be answered sooner than the budget (which is on Feb 27th). Singapore's parliament begins sitting on Thursday and one of the 43 questions submitted for debate is buybacks. So the big question may be answered sometime in the next few days. And I have the link to today's column in Singapore Business Times (on buybacks) written by a very well-connected and respected journalist (he's said to know half the people in Singapore - well it is a small island).
