OWW, I don't have all that good a feel for the DRAM situation, but it appears that a lot of equipment is going to be needed for the 64 MB and 256 MB runs and the newer SDRAM.. to the extent that this equipment replaces the old, it's better than growth, IMHO.. too bad there has been/still is such a glut in that sector (unless you're buying RAM <g>
VECO is still my top stock at the moment..am buying this morning again. But got AMAT, DPMI, TER, VTSS, VLSI at decent prices as well... love this market. Addi and I both grabbed our last LSI on the same day in Dec..except I bought early... so would rather have it run than the QWST.. But if fiber valuations hold up, QWST has a license to mint money, and they have an old RR fortune behind them to fund the next $2 Bil capital investment...rather a nice deal! So I'll keep some of that while I'm cheering LSI onward and upward. Or riding YOUR train, while you and E! do the same <g> !! .. TSO
