I asked a tax advisor a similar question, and was told I was playing with fire. According to this person, the IRS would consider that a wash sale if they ever found out about it, regardless of the fact that the transactions occurred in different accounts (and account types, for that matter).

You'd be well advised to investigate this further before proceeding.
