Ray: Thanks for the response. AT&T's lowest offering for offnet billing is .15 per minute. .10 per minute billed via the net is a 33% discount. I suspect other companies can afford similar discounts giving customers additional reasons to purchase a computer. <1K for inexperienced and upgrades for experienced users. Compaqs' ability to get in front of the customer, i.e. Circuit City, Radio Shack, etc. will result in that greater piece of the pie. It's difficult for me to understand how an inexperienced user would buy BTO from Dell or Gateway.

Unfortunately, this AT&T billing option is not available here.
