My reason for thinking it is good for CCUR is because more market
research is badly needed for VOD. If they make money then it will
inspire others to get into VOD quicker. There's nothing like a
good profit to build a fire. DIVA is taking a double risk by doing
their own financing. Basically they are doing the job of ONCO as
well as furnishing the servers. However, I can see where it is
no trouble to get the cable cos to sign up, getting a $1 per
throw with no investment is pretty attractive.

It is good because CCUR will not have to "sell" the concept/benefits to the public, as other's are paying the burden of doing that .... Much like the Apple II made the follow-on IBM PC more acceptable to the mass market. CCUR does not have the resources to lead the way, but can point to big systems like Sarnoffs and say ... see it really is being adopted so you hotels and corporations (who only need a few hundred active streams/facility) better get with it. Coat-tailing.
