I gave two examples of religious people who cared for gay relatives as they died. And I've heard of another example in W Va. So I know it happens. I guess not having female ministers cancels that out.

Actually in my church (not S Baptist), pastor's wives are presented as part of a team. Our pastors wife preaches at least one sermon a year and does other leadership activities.
