<<<< Got this from Briefing.com this morning. Any comments?>>>
No sweat Angel, Dell does not take kindly to getting hammered.
Do you have 'connections', perhaps could call down a blessing on the report.?????
People would be eternally grateful.

angel, Thanks for the post!

Dell has a history of being honest in the conference call.Dell has actually been conservative in their forcasts of growth going forward. In the past there have been quarters where a specific concern going forward (costs, currency, employment and others) has needed to be addressed.

Dell has dealt with these issues as they have come up with clarity and the proper level of concern.

Some companies such as Hewlett Packard have actually said things like the sky is falling, later to be too conservative. The result of this has hurt the stock performance unneccesarily.

It is important to demonstrate to analysts as well as shareholders that the management understands all aspects of the business involved. Also, communicate how management plans to address areas that require a modification to the business plan or why although there exists a concern, no modification is the best choice.
