Westchester county, New York day traders - I am a new day trader, trading full time. I would like to meet other day traders to share insights, equipment opinions, etc. If you live in the New York Metro area, please write.

I think you are missing the point:
(and in no way am I trying to say anything about them or their service, which is quite good)...
but you are not a member of NASD, SEC, NYSE or AMEX. You sell a NYSE exchange stock, regardless of the bells and whistles you have on your internet program/application, they are still the executing broker.
That they execute it in a few seconds doesnt dismiss the fact that they are the executing broker/dealer. They provide your access to the nasdaq circuit. They are 100% a broker dealer, forget symantics...they just happen to be a good brokerdealer.

Regards,
Steve
