Former congresswoman Liz Cheney believes Donald Trump would refuse to leave office after a second presidential term if he is reelected and that a vote for him "may mean the last election that you ever get to vote in."
In that case, there would be mass protests and Trump would have to declare martial law somehow.

He would also need to have Congress and the Supreme Court support him as "president for life."

Then he would need to have as many states as possible support him as well, because there would be NO left-leaning state that would want to remain in the Union. Even swing states would consider leading the Union as well.

Finally, Trump would need most of the military to support his cementing of power. It's unlikely that this would happen, since most members of the military take their oath to the Constitution very seriously.

Bottom line is that there are a LOT of pieces that need to fall into place for Trump to achieve such a coup d'etat.

And he's no PooTin, despite how much he wants to cuck for him ...
