Interesting, but I'd say if you're still getting the notifications then there's no reason to log in unless some other feature of the app requires it.

I reflexively turn off nearly all notifications when installing apps when they ask since I do not want to be constantly bothered by them. I've seen people who blindly allow them on app installs and then wonder why they're getting so many.
