Well,

A really sad story that infuriated my dad.

Boeing bought McDonnell Douglas in 1997 and the "Bean counters" came in from MD and began to gut the company.

The outcome was obvious just a few years later.

Many of my Boeing friends I've flown with for decades were furious about the merger too.

Safety of flight is paramount for us.

They are working back to that but it has cost the company many billions of $$$.

Not to mention lives lost that should never have happened.

It was easily avoidable.

Boeing - business majors got into management - down hill from there.
