The economics are simple: overseas oil, even after shipping costs, is often cheaper than domestically-produced crude. So we are not independent. Something proven in the 1973 oil embargo which I lived through. Never will be because of increasing depletion. Too little, too late. Finite

Record crude oil production at ATHs. Surplus production in Nat. Gas. Lowest price of gas at the pump in the Tampa area is "down" to $2.58. But the dumb asses supporting Trump say there is an energy crisis. Just a FYI. RDK
