Wrong. Putin was holding Ukrainian territory for the entirety of his puppet's Presidency. El Trumpo admired him for holding stolen territory.

Sorry,

Again you flunked history.

Years before Trump became President.

Putin's army took over Crimea:

On 27 February, unmarked Russian forces masquerading as "armed pro-Russian individuals" took over the Autonomous Republic of Crimea and Sevastopol, with Russian special forces [19] seizing the building of the Supreme Council of Crimea and the building of the Council of Ministers in Simferopol. [20] Russian flags were raised over these buildings [21] and barricades were erected outside them. [22] Russian forces also occupied several localities in Kherson Oblast on the Arabat Spit, which is geographically a part of Crimea.

Bill,
Trump kept Putin out of Ukraine for his four years.
As Eric pointed out, Trump didn't keep PooTin out of Ukraine.

All Trump did was suck up to PooTin.

Whether PooTin held off his "three-day assault on Kyiv" because of Trump or not, no one can say. Especially not a Trump worshipper like you.

However, when it came to foreign policy, I do believe there was some value to Trump's mercurial personality.

And I do believe PooTin would have been a fool to ignore it.
