rg,
The osx does trade with oil. However, the values are so solid with earnings out now and the CCs pretty positive that the funds are probably looking at this as only a one day deal. We've given some up but it can come back in 5 minutes with news in our favor. It's an amazing sector. This is probably based on the UN visit. Kissinger said last night that we are past the point of no return. If we don't go in now then we loose all credibility in the Gulf with our last "allies"...Kuwait and the other defenseless countries. They will be forced to cut deals with Iran/Iraq in a hurry. This will embolden Arabs on a mission which has never changed---Israel. We may have temprary respite in the region but Sadam will come out of this like a god over there and the overall situation will deteriorate. This is what Kissinger is concerned with.

The volume isn't alarming on the sell off yet. Will just have to wait and see.
