Lisa,

The OSX has not yet decoupled from the price of CRUDE. Yesterday the price of CRUDE was down substantially and down slightly today.

The next support for the OSX is at 96, and the next one at 92.5-93, and it should hold here since it is triangulating. When the apex of the triangle is reached, and we are there right now, then there will be a surge soon thereafter. The direction of the surge is normally based on news and how the street interprets the news. I have the apex at about 97-99.

Since the OSX has not convincingly decoupled from the Price of CRUDE, if the IRAQ matter has a peaceful solution that could send the price of CRUDE down more and possibly pull the OSX down with it.

Please keep in mind that the key the surge after the triangle is NEWS.
The other way to look at it is that since the market is waiting for news, then it triangulates to form a base (the apex of the triangle), and the news will decide the direction.

Hope I was of help.
