Some weeks it looks like a 1980 USSR grocery store.

Completely out of whole milk and eggs at the local Safeway last week. Some empty shelves in the frozen food section as well. High prices everywhere. Makes you wonder..

My store was out of plantation sugar cubes, lots of bagged white sugar. The kid stocking shelves said there is a big sugar strike somewhere and it has stopped their supply for several months. The drugstore had Taikoo raw sugar cubes from Mauritus and packed in Singapore. Next time I go grocery shopping I will take my rifle so I can hunt rabbits on way to store.
