it had to do with land ownership.
by 1948 Palestinians owned +90% of the lands then.

there was no Israel as a nation, without the forfeiture of Palestinian land ownership legal or otherwise.
Arafat was correct in refusing, what was at time +20yrs ago, a verbal agreement.

What.. so called Israeli- Palestinian peace accords, with the understanding of Palestinian statehood, would of
paled in comparison to what Palestine would have been if Palestinian statehood was established in the late '40's.

Think of it this way.. how many British soldiers died in the late '40's as a result of Jewish exclusion of anything resembling Palestinian statehood.
The Jews back then & since are not honorable. It is all Israel or nothing.
