You raise the question of political risk assessment which is an important factor arbitraging prices. I look at Indonesia as a value investment issue but where one unknown is the duration of General Suharto's stay before assassination or a coup d'‚tat. This is a hard one for a value play, but at this point I'd buy during a calamity.
