Could it happen today or tomorrow by surprise, to rhyme with the ‘01 loosening strategy? Yes it could. The economy appears to be seizing or already in seizure, and I believe a surprise shock will be necessary to create the desired economic climate for the next 5 months. I suspect someone is ready to let it scream one last time, after a couple muted years. A bullish equities climax is at hand.
