L.A., of course, has some valid excuses for being heavily used, VERY extensive, and covers thousands of miles. I lived and worked down there for about 10 years and quickly learned that driving the freeways there meant going with the flow, which varied between 20 to 30 MPH over the speed limit to crawling along, stop and go. I had a lot of good times there. The Beach Boys nailed it with "California Girls" :-), but there's no way I'd ever move back there, or anywhere else in CA, for that matter. It's really sad how that State has been ruined..
