Pocotrader,
if they are working for a legit company, the company has to withhold income tax
Like I told Wharfie, the withholdings are being done under fake Social Security numbers. The employers often don't bother to check, and apparently neither does the IRS.

The result is that these "undocumented" workers end up "paying" taxes, even though none of them voluntarily did so. They can't get a refund because they can't file a tax return with the false SSN. Meanwhile they're paying into Social Security and Medicare without getting any benefits in return.

The open border leftists will point to this and claim that "undocumented" immigrants "pay their fair share" of taxes, but nothing can be further from the truth. In reality, they're only "paying" because it's a consequence of fooling the system.
